Biblical Counseling at Stanford

Scripture in Depth Applied to Life's Practical Issues
Walking with the Lord in a Secular World (Fall 2026)

This fall we will be studying the book of Daniel. In many ways, Daniel and his three friends are the "quintessential Stanford students": youths who are hand-picked for their intelligence, wisdom, and abilities to be trained for service in highly influential positions. But they were also exiles, facing intense pressure to conform to Babylonian culture, values, and religion.

We will focus on the truths Daniel and his friends held fast to and the practices they cultivated. How were they able to remain faithful to the Lord and glorify Him amid the pressures of Babylon? And how can we do the same at Stanford?

Join us Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m. at Old Union, Room 301 (starting September 22)
